March 20 is the date for this year’s Big Event by Centenary College. The Big Event originated at Texas A&M 27 years ago and was adopted by Centenary in 2008. The BIG Event is a student-led, large scale day of service, which unites Centenary with its surrounding neighbors in Highland to build relationships, express gratitude, [...] The Community Oriented Policing Bureau is sponsoring Neighborhood Networking 2010 entitled “Hats Off to Our Neighbors”. The event will be held on Tuesday, Mar. 2nd in the River View Hall, 500 Clyde Fant, from 5:30 to 8:00 pm. This is a great venue for neighbors to meet one another and discuss crime prevention issues as [...] Thanks to everyone who came out Tuesday night for our general membership meeting. We had an excellent turn out and we look forward to seeing all of you at future HRA events. Congratulations to Julie Payne Johnson, who was elected new Vice President of HRA, and all our returning board members who were reinstated.
