A Better Shreveport's Pre-Election Events

A Better Shreveport is holding a couple of events leading up to this year’s elections. The Candidate Walk & Bicycle Ride will be held Thursday, September 2 at 6pm. The walk & ride, which seeks “to engage our future community leaders in a dialog about growth and renewal while riding a narrated route in downtown Shreveport,” will begin at the new SRAC headquarters (801 Crockett St) and end at Cohabitat (610 Commerce St).  The City Council Pub Quiz will take place the following Thursday, September 9 at 6:30pm at Cohabitat. See where your candidate stands on issues that affect your district and the city as a whole. Wine, breads, and spreads will be provided with live local music.
