2nd Saturday Highland Cleanups

Saturday April 8, 2017

8AM – 11AM

Great American Cleanup Day! Join us at Highland Park. Parking available on Olive Street.  Groups will receive directions and instructions on which blocks to clean that day.   Trash bags and grabbers will be provided. Bottled water will also be provided. Bring your gloves!

Call for Volunteers! Join Highland Restoration Association, Fairfield Historic District, Highland Jazz & Blues Festival, and the City of Shreveport: Community Development as we work together to beautify our lovely neighborhood of Highland.

Every 2nd Saturday we will meet at 8am to work for a couple of hours. Each month we will focus on a different “zone” of Highland.

Take PRIDE in your neighborhood, LOVE your city, and BLOOM where you’re planted.

We appreciate the efforts of all the organizations including Shreveport Green. They helped spearhead Shreveport’s anti-litter campaign, Don’t Be Trashy, Keep It Classy! This multi-faceted approach to litter awareness focuses on the individual’s responsibility. This is our way of supporting their year-long efforts to beautify our city!
