Haynesville Shale Updates: March 2010, December 2010 (pdf files)
The HRA is a part of the ShreveCentre Coalition, which is a nonprofit corporation that was formed to negotiate the best possible Haynesville Shale gas lease terms for its members at no cost to property owners. There are currently almost 40 Shreveport neighborhood associations within the coalition. We strongly believe that the ShreveCentre Coalition is the best way to assist Highland in achieving the most advantageous results in leasing the minerals to energy companies participating in the Haynesville Shale play.
The Coalition will join our property with that of homeowners across southeast and central Shreveport to form a total acreage position. The Coalition will then receive bids on this total amount to achieve the best possible combination of up-front bonus, royalty percentage, and favorable lease clauses to benefit all homeowners.
In order to participate, you must sign and return the Non-Binding Letter of Intent, which will allow the Coalition to include your property in the lease negotiations. Click here to download a pdf version of the letter.
If you do not sign and return the enclosed form, HRA and the ShreveCentre Coalition cannot work on your behalf. Note that you are not obligated to accept the offer once the lease terms are negotiated, however we think you will be pleased with the fairness of the ultimate offer.
Thank you for working to help your friends and neighbors. Please sign and return the attached Non-binding Letter of Intent form to Highland Restoration Association, 520 Olive Street, Shreveport, LA 71104. You may also drop off your Non-binding Letters of Intent at the Highland Center Office at 520 Olive Street. Tell the receptionist to put it in the mailbox for Highland Restoration Association.
