The long-running Highland Holiday Home Tour welcomed hundreds to the neighborhood the weekend of Dec. 7-8, who were able to view 12 homes and businesses decked out for the holidays! The Saturday night candlelight event featured the elegant homes of Fairfield Avenue bedecked in Christmas finery. The A-1 trolley or stretch limousines from Kilpatrick/Rose-Neath picked up guests at C & C Electric and spirited them to Fairfield Avenue, which for the night, was open to pedestrians only. The Sunday tour featured different homes around Highland and the first-ever Highland Holiday Art Market. 17 artists showed and sold wares ranging from metal sculpture to fine painting to jewelry.
