This Sunday, August 29th, marks the 5th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina’s destruction
in the Gulf Coast. To commemorate this event, the Mulitcultural Center of the South (520 Spring St) is hosting “Hurricane Damage,” an exhibit from Katrina transplants-turned-Highland-artists Su Stella and Curt Harville. The show, which uses photos and memorabilia to recreate the experience of Katrina, will debut Sunday from 4pm-6pm. For more information, go to the Multicultural Center’s website at www.mccsouth.org or visit Su’s blog at sustella.com.
