Recyclers Activate for the Highland Parade

This year, the mighty Highland Parade celebrates its 25^th anniversary on February 14 (start time 2 PM) with the timely yet tasteful theme of “Highland Goes Green.”  Once again Andy Goldthwaite and Jon Soul have developed two ideas to help.  First they are coordinating recycling efforts during parade staging (10 AM – 2 PM) at Byrd High School.  Second, they have reserved a slot in the parade for a pedestrian (in the walking sense) float and are asking all interested to contact them at Andy Goldthwaite: [email protected] or Jon Soul: [email protected]  Both efforts will be fun and worthwhile.
