Takin' It to the Streets

On Saturday, June 19 from 12pm to 5pm the Shreveport-Bossier Rescue Mission will be hosting its third Takin’ It to the Streets, a concert and give-away event for those in need, in the Centenary Gold Dome (Kings Hwy and Woodlawn Ave).  Food, clothing, hygiene products, medical supplies, and other services will be provided to the Highland community free of charge. There is plenty of room for other organizations to participate and many more volunteers are needed as well. A volunteer orientation will be held on Saturday, June 5 from 10:30am to 11:30am at the Rescue Mission (901 McNeil St).
