What is the HRA?

Since 1977, the Highland Restoration Association (HRA) has focused on the revitalization and preservation of Shreveport’s historic Highland neighborhood.  From the initial core group of twenty homeowners, the HRA has grown to become one of the state’s largest volunteer neighborhood associations.  It’s a grassroots organization through and through.

Our neighborhood association works with government and local developers to maintain and enhance the neighborhood.  The HRA gives you another voice in important issues that affect the neighborhood, from zoning issues and property standards to Haynesville Shale negotiations and neighborhood beautification. We strive to promote the Highland neighborhood and build an active, caring community that also likes to have a good time! You don’t have to live in Highland to join.
