Wiener Dog Races to Benefit Robinson's Rescue

Harrah’s Louisiana Downs (8000 E. Texas St in Bossier City) will be hosting Wiener Dog Races and Pet Day on Labor Day (Sept. 6th) starting at 11am. In addition to the races there will be contests for cutest dog, best costume, and best trick, and you can have your picture taken with your pet. All proceeds for the event will go to Robinson’s Rescue, which has spayed and neutered over 6,000 cats and dogs in the Shreveport-Bossier area and has drastically reduced the number of animals euthanized at our local animal shelters.
